COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #071-2008
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO BOB MELCHER
WHEREAS, BOB MELCHER has served as Alderman of the Fifth District since 2004;
and
WHEREAS, ALDERMAN MELCHER served as Common Council President from 2005
to 2006 and again from 2007 to 2008; and
WHEREAS, during his two terms in office, ALDERMAN MELCHER was a member of
the Finance Committee, Public Utilities Committee and Public Works Committee; and
WHEREAS, ALDERMAN MELCHER served as the Council Representative to the
Parks and Recreation Board from 2004 to 2006, the Conservation Commission from
2006 to 2007 and the Library Board from 2006 to 2008; and
WHEREAS, ALDERMAN MELCHER was also appointed to the Mayor’s Task Force on
Economic Development; and
WHEREAS, ALDERMAN MELCHER served as the Council Liaison to the Community
Festival Committee from 2004 to 2006; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council wishes to recognize the diligence and commitment
that ALDERMAN MELCHER exemplified as the representative of the Fifth District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby acknowledge BOB MELCHER’S years of service as a dedicated
community leader and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution with the seal of the City of
Muskego affixed shall be presented to BOB MELCHER, and this resolution shall
become a part of the proceedings of the Common Council of the City of Muskego.
