RESOLUTION #066-2008
AWARD OF BID
Moorland Road TIF Area Elevated Tank Project
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the Moorland Road TIF Area Elevated Tank
Project and the following bids were received:
Contractor Base Bid
CB & I Constructors, Inc. $1,565,000
Caldwell Tanks, Inc.. $1,765,000
Maguire Iron, Inc. $1,898,000
WHEREAS, The City Engineer, Ruekert/Mielke, has reviewed the bids and recommends the
bid submitted by CB & I Constructors, Inc. in the amount of $1,565,000 be accepted for the
Moorland Road TIF Area Elevated Tank Project; and
WHEREAS, The Public Utilities Committee and Finance Committee have reviewed the bids
and recommend the bid submitted by CB & I Constructors, Inc. be accepted contingent on
DNR approval acceptable to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Public Utilities Committee and Finance Committee, does
hereby accept the bid of CB & I Constructors, Inc. in the total amount of $1,565,000 for the
Moorland Road TIF Area Elevated Tank Project contingent on DNR approval acceptable to the
City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to
sign the necessary documents in the name of the City after the contingency referred to above
is removed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor or his designee are authorized to sign any
changes at his discretion upon recommendation of the City Engineer.
