COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #063-2008
APPROVAL OF SQUAD CAR PURCHASE
POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, The approved 2008 Operating Budget (Capital Outlay) includes funding for
the purchase of two 2008 marked Ford Crown Victoria squad cars; and
WHEREAS, The Police Department has submitted a request to purchase the two
vehicles from Ewald Automotive Group at a cost of $22,200 each; and
WHEREAS, These vehicles will replace two used squad cars, which will be sold; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the proposed purchase and has
recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the purchase of two 2008 marked Ford Crown Victoria squad cars from Ewald
Automotive Group for a total cost of $44,400.
