COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #003-2008
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEGO EAGLE SCOUT
JACOB A. MAURITZ
WHEREAS, JACOB MAURITZ, resident of the City of Muskego and a
freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, attained the rank of
Eagle Scout as a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 18; and
WHEREAS, This achievement is the result of years of service and
dedication to the Code of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, JACOB earned 24 merit badges and served as Den Chief,
Librarian, Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader; and
WHEREAS, For his Eagle Scout project, JACOB cleaned up and
landscaped the courtyard at Mill Valley Elementary School. He planted new
shrubs, and mulched and trimmed existing shrubbery. In addition, JACOB
re-anchored, power washed and stained picnic tables that were dug up for
a construction project; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to
recognize the achievements of JACOB MAURITZ.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby commend JACOB A. MAURITZ for achieving the
rank of Eagle Scout and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required
to reach scouting’s highest honor.
