COMMON COUNCIL – CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #070-2005
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO MARK A. SLOCOMB
WHEREAS, MARK A. SLOCOMB has served in many capacities for the benefit of the City of
Muskego since 1997, and
WHEREAS, MARK SLOCOMB represented the Seventh District as Alderman from 1997 until he
was elected Mayor; and
WHEREAS, During his tenure as Alderman, MARK A. SLOCOMB was the Common Council
President from 1998-2002 and served on various Boards and committees including the Finance
Committee (1998-2002), the Public Utilities Committee (1997-2002), the Public Services
Committee (1997-1998), and the Parks & Recreation Board (1997-1998); and
WHEREAS, MARK SLOCOMB, also served on the Labor Negotiating Committee, the Future
Parkland Standing Committee (1997-2003), and the Emerald Park Standing Committee (1997-
2003); and
WHEREAS, In 2002 MARK A. SLOCOMB was elected to the office of Mayor and served the City
of Muskego with dedication and commitment; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council wishes to acknowledge the diligence and dedication with which
MARK A. SLOCOMB represented the people of the City of Muskego.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego does
hereby acknowledge MARK A. SLOCOMB’S years of service to the community and wishes to
express the appreciation of the citizens of Muskego for such service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That a copy of this resolution with the City seal affixed shall be
presented to MARK A. SLOCOMB, and this resolution shall become a part of the proceedings of
the Common Council of the City of Muskego.
