PCR2007096 ./PCR2007096_files/filelist.xml RESOLUTION #PC 028-2006 Print 86 6 pt 6 pt 0   RESOLUTION #P.C. 028096-2007 RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO REMOVE SECTION 8.27(3)D OF THE CHAPTER 17 ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO OFF-STREET PARKING WHEREAS, Section 8.27(3)D of the Chapter 17 zoning ordinance states the following: D.  OFF STREET PARKING LOCATION RESTRICTED 1.         A maximum 20% of a parcel’s off street parking shall be permitted between the right of way and principal structure. , and WHEREAS, The City usually leaves a “design characteristic,” such as this, up to the Planning Commission during their review of a Building, Site and Operation Plan of a development, and WHEREAS, This code section is within the city’s BP-3 Business Park zoning district, which is mainly located in the Moorland Road area and allows a variety of large scale business uses including retail, office, professional, and light manufacturing uses, and WHEREAS, A public hearing was scheduled to consider the amendment on October 23, 2007 and no one spoke. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends the removal of Section 8.27(3)D of the Chapter 17 zoning ordinance relating to off-street parking.
