PCR2007066 PCR2007066_filelist.xml RESOLUTION #PC 066-2007 Print BestFit RESOLUTION #P.C. 066-2007 APPROVAL OF A SECOND ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR THE KRUPINSKI PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE NW ¼ OF SECTION 4 (TAX KEY NO. 2174.016 / S64 W18118 MARTIN DR) WHEREAS, On May 17, 2007 a site plan and a building drawing were submitted by Patrick and Patricia Krupinski to construct a 192 square foot accessory structure on the property located at S64 W18118 Martin Drive (Tax Key No. 2174.016), and WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-3, Suburban Residence District, and where said structure is a permitted accessory use and subject to Plan Commission review due to there being an additional existing accessory structure on the property, and WHEREAS, There is currently one (1) accessory structure existing on the property totaling 528 square feet and a home residence, and WHEREAS, The total allowed square footage for accessory structures on this property is limited to 720 square feet, and said proposal meets the bulk requirements of the Zoning Code, and WHEREAS, The combined total of all accessory structures that will be on the property including the newly proposed building will be 720 total square feet, which is at the allowed limit, and WHEREAS, The structure is proposed to be constructed with sandstone colored vinyl siding with a shingled roof, and said proposal does meet the Plan Commission’s standards for administrative approval of residential accessory structures as the siding and roof materials do match the materials used on the primary residence, and WHEREAS, The petitioner has stated that the colors of the accessory structure will match the colors of the house once it is re-sided, which will happen in the near future, and WHEREAS, The building will have a concrete floor, as required by the Building Code. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves a 192 square foot accessory structure submitted by Patrick and Patricia Krupinski for the property located at S64 W18118 Martin Drive (Tax Key No. 2174.016). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the building cannot be used for the operations of a business since the property has a single-family residential zoning upon it. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the floor of the accessory structure must have a concrete slab per the building code and it must meet all other applicable building codes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the colors of the new accessory structure must match the colors of the house once it is resided, which will occur in the near future. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the accessory structure due to no undue harm to the surrounding properties.
