RESOLUTION #P.C. 028004-2007
RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO REPEAL AND RECREATE THE CHAPTER 17 (ZONING ORDINANCE) AND OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO
WHEREAS, Chapter 17 regulates the zoning regulations within the City of Muskego and includes the Official Zoning Map, and
WHEREAS, Chapter 17 requires recreating to adopt new policies and standards of today as the original code was last adopted in 1963 along with the incorporation of Muskego, and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission originally went through each individual section of the proposed new Chapter 17 zoning code and the newly proposed Official Zoning Map during the summer
of 2006, and
WHEREAS, A public hearing was scheduled to consider the matter on December 11, 2007.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends the recreation to Chapter 17 and the new Official Zoning Map (as attached) to the Common Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission understands further amendments could take place to the Official Zoning Map by the direction of the Common Council based on comments
from the public hearing.
