PCR2006099 ./PCR2006099_files/filelist.xml RESOLUTION #P.C. 103-2006 Print BestFit 6 pt 6 pt 0 RESOLUTION #P.C. 099-2006 RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL FOR A REZONING FROM R-2 COUNTRY HOME DISTRICT TO RS-2/OPD SUBURBAN RESIDENCE WITH A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY DISTRICT LOCATED IN THE SW AND SE ¼ OF SECTION 13 (DURHAM DRIVE / TAX KEY NOS. 2211.998 & 2211.997) WHEREAS, On July 19, 2006 a petition for a rezoning was submitted by Towne Realty for properties located in the SW and SE ¼ of Section 13, (Durham Drive / Tax Key Nos. 2211.998 & 2211.997), and WHEREAS, Said property is currently zoned R-2 Country Home District (Allowing parcels of a minimum 60,000 square feet in size and a minimum 175 feet in width) and is requested to be rezoned to RS-2/OPD Suburban Residence District with a Planned Development Overlay District to permit land divisions with minimum lot sizes of 18,000 square feet per lot and average minimum widths of 100 feet, and WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicts this area as being set aside for Low Density Residential Uses and under a Planned Development Zoning the proposal meets the requirements of Low Density on a unit per acre basis, however, a 2010 Plan Amendment to Medium Density Residential Uses may be required if the zoning is mutually changed, thus a 2010 Map Amendment has been listed as part of the proposal in this rare case, and   WHEREAS, The Conservation Plan shows the development in the Big Muskego Wildlife Project Area, and   WHEREAS, Proposed future development as part of the rezoning is requested to be serviced by municipal sanitary sewer and public water, and   WHEREAS, A Public Hearing was held on August 22, 2006.   THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends approval to the Common Council for a rezoning from R-2 Country Home District to RS-2/OPD Suburban Residence District with a Planned Development Overlay District on the properties located in the SW and SE ¼ of Section 13, (Durham Drive / Tax Key Nos. 2211.998 & 2211.997).   Plan Commission City of Muskego   Adopted:    Defeated:   September 5, 2006 Deferred:    Introduced: September 5, 2006 ATTEST:  Sandi Asti, Recording Secretary
