PCR2006072 PCR2006072_filelist.xml RESOLUTION #PC 072-2006 Print 86 RESOLUTION #P.C. 072-2006 APPROVAL OF LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR BOXHORN RESERVE SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN THE NE 1/4 OF SECTION 24 WHEREAS, On April 20, 2006 a Landscape Plan was submitted by Creative Homes for the Boxhorn Reserve Subdivision located in the NE ¼ of Section 24, and WHEREAS, The plan includes street trees and screening, and a diversity of species as recommended by the Conservation Coordinator / City Forester, and WHEREAS, As a part of the land division ordinance, a developer must mitigate affected trees as part of a development at a rate of 1 to 1, and WHEREAS, Planting sizes shall be a minimum of 1.5”– 2.5” caliper for trees, with a 7-foot minimum height, and species conform to those recommended by the Urban Forestry Strategic Plan. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the landscape plan for the Boxhorn Reserve Subdivision located in the NE ¼ of Section 24. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspects of this plan as they relate to landscape areas and drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.   BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That if occupancy is requested prior to the completion of landscaping and/or asphalting, a bond, letter of credit or cashiers check equal to twice the value of said costs must be submitted to the Planning Department. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both.
