RESOLUTION #019-2026
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF BAYCOM QUOTE FOR DISPATCH
EQUIPMENT WITH THE MUSKEGO POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the 2026 Budget authorized the Chief of Police to purchase dispatch equipment,
consisting of console equipment, system licensing, and associated services, including system
design and engineering, AVTEC Professional Consultation Services and Professional
instillation by Motorola and BAYCOM; and
WHEREAS, the budgetary approved amount for the equipment and services was $200,000.00;
and
WHEREAS, attached is a quote from BAYCOM for the equipment and services above in the
estimated amount of $196,449.14; That the Chief of Police is authorized to spend the entire
budgeted amount of $200,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has reviewed the quote, as well as the Finance Committee,
and recommended it be approved by the Common Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve the acceptance of
the BAYCOM quote for dispatch equipment with the Muskego Police Department;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the
Agreement and the City Attorney is authorized to make substantive changes to it as may be
necessary to preserve the general intent thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to sign such substantive changes
made by the City Attorney.
