ACCEPTANCE OF BUILDING INSPECTION SERVICES CONSULTANT
WHEREAS, an RFP (Request for Proposal) was issued on January 26, 2026, for Building Inspection
Services with the City of Muskego; and
WHEREAS, there were three (3) companies that submitted proposals: Wisconsin Building Inspections,
LLP, SAFEbuilt Wisconsin, LLC, and Municipal Code Enforcement, LLC; and
WHEREAS, Building Inspecting Services Companies that work for the City of Muskego, earn their fees
based on a percentage of the total cost of the permit issued; that to allow for and accurate and fair
review of said proposals, each company was required to submit their bid, in the form of a percentage
calculated off the cost of a permit, as opposed to a gross dollar amount for services performed; that the
proposed fee table is noted below:

; and
WHEREAS, upon review of the Proposals, the Director of Public Works and Development recommends
acceptance of the Proposal submitted by Wisconsin Building Inspections, LLP as being the most cost
effective and in the best interests of the City for inspection services; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the findings of the Director of Public Works and
Development and concurs with his recommendation; that the Finance Committee further finds that the
overall process of obtaining proposals for this project was fair and transparent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the
recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the Proposal submitted by Wisconsin
Building Inspections, LLP for the Building Inspection Services with the City of Muskego; that a formal
contract will be forthcoming for Common Council to approval at a later date.
