Agate Lift Station
WHEREAS, there were three bids received for the Agate Lift Station; the attached letter from
Ruekert & Mielke includes information regarding the bids received; and
WHEREAS, the three bids received are as follows:

Staab Construction
$383,000.00
WHEREAS, Ruekert & Mielke reviewed the bids and recommends that the base bid be
accepted by Sabel Mechanical in the amount of $271,175.75; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Development Director reviewed the bids along with the
Ruekert & Mielke letter and recommends awarding the base bid to Sabel Mechanical for the
Agate Lift Station in the amount of $271,175.75; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee reviewed the recommendation to accept the bid submitted
by Sabel Mechanical for the Agate Lift Station in the amount of $271,175.75 and recommends
approval to the Common Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon
the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept and approve the bid
submitted by Sabel Mechanical for the Agate Lift Station in the amount of $271,175.75.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to sign the Contract
in the name of the City and the City Attorney is authorized to make substantive changes to the
Contract as may be necessary in order to preserve the general intent thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to sign such substantive changes
made by the City Attorney.
