APPROVAL OF SOLID WASTE SERVICES ADDENDUM TO CONTRACT FOR
2026-2028 WITH GFL MUSKEGO, LLC FOR
REFUSE AND RECYCLING COLLECTION
WHEREAS, the City's current Solid Waste Services Contract with GFL Environmental,
Inc., for hauling of refuse and recycling terminates December 31, 2025; and
WHEREAS, at a meeting on May 27, 2025, after discussion with the Common Council,
authority was given to Scott Kroeger, Director of Public Works and Development, to
extend the current Solid Waste Services Contract with GFL Muskego, LLC for an
additional two (2) year period, in accordance with Article 13.01 of the Contract; and
WHEREAS, attached to this Resolution is an Addendum to the current Solid Waste and
Services Contract extending it for an additional two (2) years set to expire on December
31, 2027; that all other terms of the current Contract remain the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby approve the attached Addendum to the current Solid Waste
Services Contract between GFL Muskego, LLC and the City of Muskego, for refuse and
recycling collection, extending the termination date for two (2) additional years to expire
on December 31, 2027, subject to final review by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
sign the Addendum and the City Attorney is authorized to make substantive changes to
it as may be necessary in order to preserve the general intent thereof.
