RESOLUTION #031-2025
APPROVAL OF INTER -MUNICIPAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF MUSKEGO AND WAUKESHA COUNTY
REGARDING PUBLIC SAFETY ANSWERING POINT (PSAP) BACKUP
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego and Waukesha County wish to enter into an Inter -
Municipal Agreement regarding Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Backup, the
primary objective being to have a physical location to move the City's PSAP operations,
if needed, during an extended outage of our building for issues beyond our control; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the proposed Agreement and has
recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby approve the attached Agreement regarding Public Safety
Answering Point (PSAP) Backup; that staff is authorized to accept the Agreement upon
the certification of this Resolution by the City Clerk.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
sign the Agreement and the City Attorney is authorized to make substantive changes to
it as may be necessary in order to preserve the general intent thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to sign such substantive
changes made by the City Attorney.
