Motion Passed: 7 - 0 Voting For: Alderperson Wolfe, Alderperson Hammel, Alderperson Decker, Alderperson Bryce, Alderperson Schroeder, Alderperson Duelge, Alderperson Madden Voting Against: None NEW BUSINESS Health Insurance Presentation by Cottingham and Butler Representatives Sandy Mottz and Taylor, benefits consultants with Cottingham and Buttler presented the options for health insurance for City employees Committee of the Whole Minutes — August 12, 2025 Page 12 CLOSED SESSION Following conclusion of consideration of the above portion of its regularly scheduled agenda, the Committee of the Whole will meet to vote on a motion to convene in Closed Session for discussion/action relative to: • Abatement procedure for nuisance properties • Discussion regarding businesses that have failed to return their annual survey to assist the City in determining REC use and charges in accordance with Section 290-7(G)(3) of the Municipal Code • Discussion regarding Innovation Grant and how it may impact the Police Department and to take such further action as may be appropriate with respect to such matters. A Closed Session for the above purpose is authorized pursuant to the provisions of: • Wis. Stats. § 19.85(1)(g), conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved; and • Wis. Stats. § 19.85(1)(c), considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Upon conclusion of the Closed Session, the Common Council will reconvene in Open Session to consider its public agenda, including motions to recommend approval or rejection of the above -listed deliberations or any of the public agenda items that have not been acted upon. Moved by Alderperson Wolfe; seconded by Alderperson Schroeder to Convene into Closed Session at 7:38 pm with roll call vote.
