UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. Current status of lake (water levels, ice, fish and wildlife).
It was noted that Bass Bay is turbid. Weeds generally not a problem except near Larry's house. It
was also noted that uprooted Vallisneria americans (known as eelgrass, or wild celery) was
accumulating in areas on the east shore. Ducks eat the tubers and rhizomes, leaving the tops to
float away.
2. Replacement of osprey platforms and posts.
Discussion ensued on ideas to replace fallen platform, prop up those leaning and install additional
such as on Island #3
3. Purchase of ATV.
Quote from Schauer Power in Union Grove for a 2025 Polaris Sportsman 6 x 6 570 Special
Edition for $13,999. Tom moved to inquire with Chair if it could be ordered now rather than 2025
since there is fund balance. Karl 2nd, and carried by all.
