CALL TO ORDER
President Humphreys called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Present were President Humphreys, Trustee Blair, Trustee DeAngelis, Trustee Foundos, Trustee
Lissmann, Trustee Schroeder, Trustee Wied, Trustee Woodward and Director Larson.
Alderperson Duelge was excused.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE

Discussion/Action: Approval of Library Director Job Posting
Trustee Foundos made a motion to approve Approval of Library Director Job Posting,
Trustee Woodward seconded. Motion Passed 8 in favor.
Discussion/Action: Approval of Updates to Library Director Job Description
Trustee Blair made a motion to approve Approval of Updates to Library Director Job
Description, Trustee DeAngelis seconded. Motion Passed 8 in favor.
Discussion/Action: Appointment of Library Director Search Committee
Trustee Blair made a motion to approve Appointment of Library Director Search
Committee, Trustee Foundos seconded. Motion Passed 8 in favor.
The following were appointed to the Library Director Search Committee: Trustee DeAngelis (Chair of
Search Committee), President Humphreys, Vice President Foundos, Trustee Woodward, Karol Kennedy
(Advisory, Bridges System Director), Kate Crouteau (City of Muskego Human Resources), Samantha
Quail (Head of Reference).
Discussion/Action: Appointment of Interim Director
NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION
The Library Board of the City of Muskego will meet at approximately 6:OOPM, or as soon thereafter as time
permits on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in the Library Conference Room, Muskego Public Library, S73
W16663 Janesville Road, Muskego, Wisconsin, following conclusion of consideration of the above portion
of its regularly scheduled agenda, to vote on a motion to convene in closed session at said time and place
for:
Discussion/Action relative to Appointment of Interim Director. The Library Board will hold the
closed session in the Library Conference Room.
A closed session for the above purpose is authorized pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stats. Section
§19.85(1)(c) , which authorizes a governmental body, upon motion duly made and carried, to meet in
closed session to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of
any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.
Upon conclusion of the closed session, the Library Board will convene in open session to consider its
public agenda, including motions to recommend approval or rejection of the above -listed deliberations
or any of the public agenda items that have not been acted upon.
Trustee Blair made a motion to enter closed session, Trustee DeAngelis seconded. Motion
Passed 8 in favor via a roll call vote.
Entered Closed session at 7:02 PM
Trustee DeAngelis made a motion to enter open session, Trustee Blair seconded. Motion
Passed 8 in favor via a roll call vote.
Entered Open session at 7:19 PM
OPEN SESSION
Trustee Foundos made a motion to appoint Samantha Quail as the Interim Director, Trustee
Woodward seconded. Motion Passed 8 in favor.

Trustee DeAngelis made a motion to adjourn, Trustee Woodward seconded. Motion
Passed 8 in favor.
Meeting adjourned at 7:21 PM.
