Chairman Petfalski called the meeting to order at 6:07 pm.

Present: Chairperson Petfalski, Commissioner Wolfe, Commissioner Hammel, Commissioner

Absent: Commissioner Schwer and Commissioner Kubacki
Also present: Deputy Commissioner Burmeister, Schweitzer & Pilak; City Attorney Warchol,
Public Works Superintendent Beilfuss, and Assistant Deputy Clerk -Treasurer Crisp
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
Assistant Deputy Clerk -Treasurer Crisp stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with
the open meeting law on Friday, March 21, 2025.

Deputy Commissioner's Update - Current Condition of Lake/Bay, Water Levels, Plant Growth,
Fish and Wildlife.
Deputy Commissioner Len Pilak provided the following update:
Weed Control Contract: The contract for weed control is being finalized with the same group
that has been servicing the area for the past five years. The effectiveness of the service has
resulted in very few complaints about nuisance weeds.
Aquatic Bird Activity: With the ice of the Big Lake by early March, there has been an
influx of aquatic birds. Notable sightings include 19 eagles in one location, various swans,
and five of six types of different ducks. An early report of an osprey was noted, indicating a
good start to the season.

New Six -wheeler Vehicle: The new six -wheeler is currently in use for fire patrol, assisting
with a burn operation. The old vehicle, which has served the City for 25 years, will be
auctioned off. It has been utilized by multiple departments throughout its service. Details
regarding the bidding process can be obtained from Conversationist Tom Zagar, who
manages the auction process through Wisconsin Surplus.
Fishing Report: Fishermen have reported good fishing conditions, although specifics were
not disclosed. The ice went out on Bass's Bay around March 10-11, leading to a busy boating
scene shortly thereafter.
Election of Secretary - Kerri Roller, City Clerk
Moved by Commissioner Madden; seconded by Commissioner Schroeder to Approve the
nomination of Kerri Roller for the position of Secretary for the Big Muskego Lake
District.

Commissioner Schroeder, Commissioner Madden

Authorization for Chair to sign Aquatic Plant Control Agreement with Solitude Lake
