EXPENDITURE APPROVAL FOR LIBRARY STUDY ROOM PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Library is seeking expenditure approval for a quantity of three study
room pods, per City Purchasing Policy 12(a) — purchases above $50,000 which states
that purchases falling into this category must be approved by the Common Council prior
to the expenditure being made; and
WHEREAS, the following three quotes were received by the Library Director for the
three study room pods:
• Framery Q - $63,215.00;
• Room - $74,928.00;
• Zenbooth - $64,599.00; and
WHEREAS, upon comparison and review based on the overall needs of the Library, i
was determined by the Library Director that the quote for the pods presented by
Framery Q is most advantageous for the Library based on price, utility, and extended
warranty; and
WHEREAS, the study room project is part of the Council approved 2023 Capital Budget
and the purchase of the pods as part of that project is under budget.
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the Library Director's request to
purchase three study room pods from the Framery Q company at a cost of $63,215.00
and recommends approval of the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the purchase of three study room pods from the Framery Q company at a cost of
$63,215.00 for the Muskego Public Library study room project.
