Absent: Alderperson Terrence, Alderperson Kapusta
Also present: City Attorney Warchol, Assistant Deputy -Clerk Treasurer Crisp
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
Assistant Deputy -Clerk Treasurer Crisp stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the
open meeting law

COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE
Mayor Petfalski wished everyone a Happy New Year.
He stated that anyone interested in the Aldermanic District 4 position should get applications to him by
January 15 at 4:30 pm. Interviews will take place at the January 23 Common Council meeting.
He also stated that he will be sending out invitations to our State Representatives for a meeting in
February to come in to give us an update as they should be done with the legislative session.
Also, he will be in Madison on January 10 to testify concerning the Urban Towns Bill. The Town of
Norway could potentially benefit from this as they can force utility connections to us at a very
discounted cost. The League of Municipalities is imploring people to go to testify.
