RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSREGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD THURSDAY, APRIL 13, 1995
The meeting was called to order at 8:02 P.M. by Chairman Taube.
Also present were Committee Member Misko and Chief Johnson.
Committee Member Woodard was excused.
The Committee noted that the meeting was posted on 4/11/95 in
accordance with the Open -Meeting Law.
The Committee reviewed correspondence from City Attorney Molter
along with an ordinance for the City of Merrill, REGARDING Taxi
Service, that he felt most suited our purpose. Ald. Misko moved
to defer any action until Chief Johnson can review. Chief Johnson
will make a recommendation as to whether or not to implement as no
one is looking for a license at this time. Seconded by Ald.
Taube, motion carried.
The Committee discussed status of Snowmobile Regulations and Ald.
Misko moved to defer to August meeting or until State Bill AB133
is voted on. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request to repeal Section 12.06 relating to
Auction Permit issuance period received from the City Clerk dated
March 14, 1995. As of March 1, 1995, the State of Wisconsin will
begin statewide regulations of auctions and municipalities will be
preempted from doing so. Ald. Misko moved to repeal Section 12.06
of the Municipal Code that regulates Auctions. Seconded by Ald.
Taube,-motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 8:37 P.M.
