MINUTES OF MEETING HELD THURSDAY, AUGUST 5, 1993
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Taube. Also present were Committee Members Misko and Woodard,
Mayor De Angelis, Chief John Johnson, City Clerk Jean Marenda
and Assessor Laura Mecha.
The Committee reviewed proposed amendment to Deposit and
Forfeiture Schedule for Chapter 9, Orderly Conduct:
Delete:
The following sections should be deleted from the Deposit and Forfeiture
Schedule to correspond with the Municipal Code and the remaining sections in
Chapter 9 of the Schedule renumbered accordingly.
Sections to be deleted:
9.05, 9.09, 9.10, 9.12, 9.13, 9.14, 9.15, 9.19, 9.24, 9.25,
9.34 and 9.36.
Amend:
The following sections are amended to properly identify the correct
state

Ald. Misko moved to approve above proposed amendments with the
following corrections:
Correct:
9.01(D)(2) to be 9.01(1)(d)(2)
9.37.4 now reads: "Possession of Tobacco Products By
Students Over 18 on School Property"; should read 9.37.4,
"Possession of Tobacco Products by Students on School
Property - Over 18 $50.00
- Under 18 $25.00

. Chief Johnson discussed with the Committee additional
amendments that were needed to the Deposit & Forfeiture
Schedule, as follows:
Chapter 7 - Traffic Code - Delete 7.343.44(1) as it is covered
by the Uniform Traffic Code mandated by the Wisconsin Supreme
Court
Chapter 24 - Snowmobiles and All -Terrain Vehicles
Delete 350.10(3) and replace with the following:
350.101(1)(a) operate While Under the Influence of
Intoxicating Beverage $200.00
350.101(1)(b) operate With Blood Alcohol Level More
Than .10 $200.00
350.104(5) Refusal to Consent to Tests $200.00
Chapter 12 - Licenses and Permits
Add:
12.18(3) Alarm Permit Required $25.00
• Ald. Misko moved to recommend the above amendments. Seconded
by Ald. Woodard, motion carried.
City Clerk Jean Marenda and Assessor Laura Mecha appeared
before the Committee to request that the terms for City Clerk,
Assessor, Treasurer and Municipal Judge positions be increased
to four (4) years. No action was taken by the Committee.
The meeting adjourned at 8:42 P.M.
