MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 6, 1992
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman
Taube. Also present were Committee Member Dumke, Mayor
Salentine and Ald. Misko.
Ald. Misko shared with the Committee a copy of the sign control
code for the Village of Hales Corners. The Committee deferred
action in order for Ald. Misko to secure sign ordinances from
other communities.
The Committee discussed purchasing of American Made Products
and requested that the City Clerk direct Attorney Molter to
contact the League of Wisconsin Municipalities to request a
legal opinion.
Correspondence from the City Attorney was reviewed regarding
license and permit requirements, along with a model ordinance.
Mayor Salentine indicated that he and the City Clerk felt that
the benefit received would not warrant the added administrative
costs involved.
The Committee discussed procedure for Zoning Board of Appeals
• and deferred for further clarification from the City Attorney.
The meeting adjourned at 8:35 P.M.
