MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 4, 1992
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Taube. Also present were Committee Members Simmons, and Dumke,
Chief Johnson and those per the attached list.
Chief Johnson presented a sample of proposed change in language
for the Burning Ordinance to clarify difference between burning
construction materials, brush, leave clippings, and limbs.
Ald. Simmons moved to recommend adoption of the following
changes:
9.22(1) BURNING OF GARBAGE AND TRASH PROHIBITED.
No person shall burn garbage, paper, putrescible
materials, buildings or other structures, lumber,
construction materials, or materials from razed
buildings within the City limits.
9.22(3)(a)
The burning of dry brush, dry leaves, dry plant clippings,
dry limbs, dry branches, and dry logs is allowed subject to
the following regulations...
• Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried.
