MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 13, 1992
The meeting was called to order at 8:25 P.M. by Chairman H.
Sanders. Also present were Committee Members Taube and Patterson
and Mayor Salentine.
The Committee discussed proposed amendments to the City's Ethic
Code.
The Committee noted that the Building Inspector is in the process
of submitting a recommendation on how to protect established solar
panels/dishes from blockage caused by new construction.
The Committee reviewed the proposed Animal Litter Ordinance. Aid.
Taube moved to recommend Council adoption. Seconded by Ald.
Patterson, motion carried.
The Committee further discussed possible ordinance addressing
potbellied pigs. Ald. Taube moved to direct the City Attorney to
draft an ordinance to govern potbellied pigs, with a sunset
provision, with regulations to be similar to dogs; licensing,
etc. It was noted that licenses would be issued at a nine (9)
week period instead of the five (5) months regulation for dogs.
• Seconded by Ald. Patterson, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed report from League of Municipalities
regarding request for information on Hiring of Relatives.
The meeting adjourned at 9:40 P.M.
