RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 3, 1991
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. by Chairman H.
Sanders. Also present were Committee Members Taube and Patterson
and Ald. Simmons.
The Committee discussed Ethics Code and requests a copy of final
form of new state law when it is available. The Committee
requests that Attorney Molter supply a legal opinion concerning an
election complaint forwarded to Police Department for
investigation and then referred to District Attorney, if
applicable. The complaint would then be forwarded to the State
Election Board to determine if the election is to be nullified.
The Committee will continue to secure information from other
communities on blockage of solar panels/dishes.
The Committee discussed possible ordinance to eliminate use of
vulgar language on signage. The Committee requests that Attorney
Molter define what is vulgar for the purpose of public signage and
if "sh--" is vulgar.
The Committee discussed possible ordinance to address dog, cow,
horse, and cat litter and requests that a survey be made of urban
communities in the area.
The meeting adjourned at 9:46 P.M.
