RLO19870504• RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 4, 1987 The meeting was called to order by Chairman DeAngelis at 7:00 P.M. Also present were Committee Member Hilt and Chief Johnson. Ald. Paterson was absent. The Committee reviewed Ordinance 570, An Ordinance To Amend Chapter 11, Section 11.03 of the Municipal Code (Landfills). Chairman DeAngelis moved to amend the ordinance to insert after "the account containing said fee shall be replenished by the applicant so that it always contains $10,000 to be used as stated above," but never less than FIVE THOUSAND ($5,000) DOLLARS. The Committee reviewed Ordinance 571, An Ordinance To Amend Chapter 9, Section 9.29(3)A of the Municipal Code (Off -the -road Vehicles). The Committee reviewed Ordinance 572, An Ordinance To Amend Chapter 24, Section 24.01, 24.02 & 24.03 of the Municipal Code (Snowmobiles and All -Terrain Vehicles). The Committee reviewed Ordinance 573, An Ordinance To Amend • Chapter 17, Section 17:6.04 (4)G(2) and Section 17:6.04 (4)G(3) of the Municipal Code (Parking of Commercial Vehicles). Ald. Hilt moved to delete the following sentence from paragraph (b.) "with no more than 4 rubber road tires". Seconded by Chairman DeAngelis, motion carried. ie Johnson advised the Committee that he had researched camper lengths. The average length purchased is 25 feet and the longest built normally is 34'feet. Forty feet trailers are an exception. The Committee reviewed Ordinance 574, An Ordinance To Amend Chapter 7, Section 7.06 of the Municipal Code (Weight Limitations). Chief Johnson reviewed with the Committee the proposed Bail Bond Schedule with the following amendments: Chapter 9 - Class A Misdemeanor be changed from $500 to $300 and Class B Misdemeanor be changed from $250 to $200 Add 9.943.34 - RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY (See Retail Theft 9.943.50) Chairman DeAngelis moved to recommend the above amendments.
