RLO19861020• RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 20, 1986 The meeting was called to order at 8:13 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Patterson and Taube, Ald. DeAngelis, Lt. John Daley, Supt. Bertram and Mr. Howard Schneider. The Committee reviewed correspondence from Attorney Molter and Building Inspector Lee regarding the proposed Soil Erosion Ordinance. Ald. Patterson moved to direct Building Inspector Lee to incorporate Attorney Molter's suggested changes and send to Attorney Molter for his review. The Committee would like the following items addressed: 9.5.06 (5) (f) include "and water courses", 9.5.06 (5) (i) determine if the suggested 2 weeks can be shortened if time is important due to weather or erosion, and 9.5.08 (2) determine if the 30 days can be shortened where time is important due to weather or further erosion. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried. The Committee reviewed proposed False Alarm ordinance. Ald. Patterson moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The Committee reviewed proposed amendment to Chapter 17 of the • Zoning Text relating to parking of trucks and trailers in residential areas. Ald. Patterson moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried. The Committee reviewed correspondence from Mayor Salentine regarding the concerns of the Auditors regarding the Park Dedication fees being used for Capital items. The Committee requests that the City Attorney draft the necessary ordinance to allow for these expenditures. The Committee reviewed the Building Inspector's recommendation regarding additional fees for landfill, extractive permits, etc. The City Clerk is requested to send a memorandum to the Plan Commission requesting that all extractive permits be deferred to allow the Committee to review the ordinance for possible amendments.
