MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 26, 1985
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dumke at 7:30 P.M.
Also present were Committee Member Taube, Mayor Salentine and
Ald. Hilt.
The Committee reviewed fireworks permits. Ald. Dumke moved to
continue present policy due to low number of permits and lack of
problems and to establish a permit fee of $10.00. Seconded by
Ald. Taube, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Ordinance #538 (as amended). Ald. Taube
moved to amend the ordinance to read, "Such "Special Permit"
license shall be subject to all other provisions of this section,
except that the requirement in (3) above which requires Common
Council and Finance Committee approval shall not apply if said
application is for one public dance. The City Clerk may grant
and issue said "Special Permit" license for one public dance,
except......". Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting.
The Committee reviewed an ordinance to repeal and recreate the
• "State Criminal Laws Adopted" section of the Municipal Code to
bring it up to date to comply with the State laws. Ald. Taube
moved to recommend adoption. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
The Committee discussed Transient Merchant Ordinance and
determined that they would not recommend any change in the
ordinance to include licensing rummage sales.
The Committee discussed Park Dedication fees and felt that no
action would be taken.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
