' MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 5, 1984
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dumke at
7:16 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Tomczyk and
Gaetzke, Lt. Johnson, Bldg. Insp. Lee, Mayor Salentine and
those persons per the attached list.
The Committee discussed an amendment to Chapter 15.23 of the
Municipal Code regarding underground electrical wiring. The
Committee recommended that no action be taken to amend Chapter
15.23 at this time.
The Committee discussed Chapter 12.03 of the Municipal Code
(Transient Merchant Ord. relating to charitable
organizations). Ald. Tomczyk moved, Ald. Gaetzke seconded, to
defer pending recommendation from Lt. Johnson. Motion carried.
The Committee discussed Chapter 12.01 of the Municipal Code
(Liquor License Ord.) regarding changing age from 18 to 19
effective July 1, 1984. Ald. Tomczyk moved, Ald. Gaetzke
seconded, to direct the City Attorney to draft an ordinance to
change age 18 to read "an underage person" wherever age 18 is
used. Motion carried.
The Committee discussed Chapter 1.06 of the Municipal Code to
• amend "Municipal Justice" to "Municipal Judge". Ald. Tomczyk
moved, Ald. Gaetzke seconded, to direct the City Attorney to
draft an ordinance to amend Chapter 1.06 to insert "Judge"
wherever "Justice" is used, and to insert the proper State
Statute numbers. Motion carried.
The Committee reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting.
Ald. Tomczyk moved, Ald. Gaetzke seconded, to adjourn at
8:06 P.M.
