MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 11, 1982
The meeting was called to order at 8,15 P.M. by Chairman Dumke. Also
present were Committee Members Treba and Klenz, Ald. Nilsson,
Gerald Lee and those persons as per the attached list.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
The committee reviewed proposed Ordinance #446 regarding occupied
trailers. Ald. Treba moved to permit one renewal period within the
proposed ordinance. Seconded by Ald. Klenz. Motion carried.
Ald. Klenz moved to remove the $25,00 reinspection fee from the
proposed ordinance. Seconded by Ald, Treba. Motion carried.
The committee discussed the proposed Ordinance #444 regarding false
emergency alarms. Discussion centered on the amount of fines and
the effective date of the ordinance. It is the committee's
recommendation to send the proposed ordinance to Common Council
to have any necessary amendments made there.
The
proposed Ordinance regarding
parking on city streets during

winter
months was discussed. The
matter was deferred until Supt.
Bertram
could be present at the next
meeting.
The
matter regarding snowplowing
onto public streets from private
drives will also be discussed at
the next meeting.
The
committee reviewed tefollowing

The
committee reviewed the proposed Ordinance #441 relating to the city's
Flood Plain Ordinance with Building Inspector Lee. The committee is
recommending the proposed ordinance be adopted by the Common Council
as submitted.

The committee discussed the possibility of an ordinance relating to
the posting of election signs within the city. Aid. Nilsson will check
with City Attorney Molter regarding the legality of eliminating election
signs.
Proposed Ordinance #443 relating to mufflers on motor boats was
deferred since the city attorney is checking on DNR requirements for
passage.
Proposed Ordinance #445 relating to unoccupied trailers was recommended
for approval by the committee.
Aid Treba moved to adjourn. Seconded by Aid. Klenz. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 10-00 P M.
