RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 25, 1982
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine at
8:00 P.M. Also present were committee members Radtke and
Knudsen, Chief Scholz, Scott Krause, Deputy Inspector Nowak
and individuals listed on the attached list.
The committee again discussed the operation of mini -bikes
within the City, and determined that Section 9.29 of the
proposed amendments to Chapter 9 of the Municipal Code would
cover mini -bikes. Thus no additional action is necessary if
the amendments to Chapter 9 are adopted.
The committee reviewed the proposed ordinance to amend Chapter
9 of the Municipal Code. Ald. Radtke moved to recommend to
the(:Common Council the adoption of an ordinance to amend
Chapter 9 of the Municipal Code, including the changes recommended
by Chief Scholz in his letter dated March 25, 1982. Motion
seconded by Ald. Salentine. Motion carried with Ald. Knudsen
voting "no".
The committee discussed a proposed ordinance creating a sewer
district to serve a 5 unit holding tank development for Scott
Krause. Residents from Groveway Lane appeared before the
committee asking questions pertaining to the project. After
reviewing the plans with Mr. Krause, they stated they had no
major objections to the project. Upon Mr. Krause's request,
the committee deferred action on the proposed holding tank
ordinance due to problems he is having obtaining Waukesha
County Health Department approval of the project.
The committee deferred action on a possible ordinance prohib-
iting the plowing of snow from private drives onto streets and
private property, pending receipt of ordinances adopted by
other cities from the Public Works Department.
The minutes of the previous meeting held January 18, 1982, were
reviewed and placed on file.
Ald. Knudsen moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Salentine.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
