RLO19820325• RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 25, 1982 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine at 8:00 P.M. Also present were committee members Radtke and Knudsen, Chief Scholz, Scott Krause, Deputy Inspector Nowak and individuals listed on the attached list. The committee again discussed the operation of mini -bikes within the City, and determined that Section 9.29 of the proposed amendments to Chapter 9 of the Municipal Code would cover mini -bikes. Thus no additional action is necessary if the amendments to Chapter 9 are adopted. The committee reviewed the proposed ordinance to amend Chapter 9 of the Municipal Code. Ald. Radtke moved to recommend to the(:Common Council the adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 9 of the Municipal Code, including the changes recommended by Chief Scholz in his letter dated March 25, 1982. Motion seconded by Ald. Salentine. Motion carried with Ald. Knudsen voting "no". The committee discussed a proposed ordinance creating a sewer district to serve a 5 unit holding tank development for Scott Krause. Residents from Groveway Lane appeared before the committee asking questions pertaining to the project. After reviewing the plans with Mr. Krause, they stated they had no major objections to the project. Upon Mr. Krause's request, the committee deferred action on the proposed holding tank ordinance due to problems he is having obtaining Waukesha County Health Department approval of the project. The committee deferred action on a possible ordinance prohib- iting the plowing of snow from private drives onto streets and private property, pending receipt of ordinances adopted by other cities from the Public Works Department. The minutes of the previous meeting held January 18, 1982, were reviewed and placed on file. Ald. Knudsen moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Motion carried.
