MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 12, 1981
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine at 8:00 P.M.
Also present were Committee Members Radtke and Knudsen and Ald.
Klenz.
Ald. Knudsen moved to add the following to the ordinance relating
to skin diving:
20.08(2) SWIMMING -- When swimming without the use of self-
contained underwater breathing apparatus, a suitable
boat (motor or otherwise) shall accompany any person
or persons swimming more than 150 feet from the
shoreline of any waters in the city.
Motion was seconded by Ald. Radtke. Motion carried.
The committee reaffirmed its decision of September 24th to request
City Attorney Holter to amend Section 9.055 to permit drinking
at parade routes or to amend Section 12.17 to grant a permit to
allow drinking during parade routes.
The committee discussed the Park Board's request to prohibit dogs
•. in parks. It was the consensus of the committee that dogs were not
causing a major problem in the City of Muskego at this time. There-
fore, the committee is not recommending a change in the current
ordinance.
The committee discussed the problems with mini -bikes in the city.
Ald. Knudsen moved to have the city attorney review the City of
Brookfield's ordinance and the following recommendations be made:
(b) Between the hours of 9:00 p,m. and 8:00 a.m, within
100 feet of a dwelling, and
Paragraphs (d) and (e) to be eliminated.
Seconded by Ald. Salentine, Motion carried.
The minutes of the meeting held September 24, 1981 were reviewed
and placed on file.
Ald. Radtke moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:20 P.M.
