RLO19790509RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 9, 1979 The meeting was called to order at 9:32 P.M. by Chairman Van Lanen. Also present were Aldermen Salentine and Pienkos and Mrs. Dorothy Van Lanen. Aid. Pienkos was appointed secretary of the committee. Agendas will be prepared for future meetings The committee will hold its monthly meetings at 8:30 P M. on the second Wednesday of the month Discussion took place regarding an ordinance to prohibit the plowing of snow onto streets from driveways. Aid. Salentine will contact New Berlin, Aid. Van Lanen will contact Franklin and Aid Pienkos will contact Sussex regarding their snowplowing ordinances The committee is awaiting Attorney Buckley's report regarding the committee's request to amend Section 13.01(3) of the Municipal Code regarding dog license fees. The committee is also awaiting Attorney Buckley's report on amending Section 3 10(6) regarding sewer service charge • The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file. Aid. Salentine raised the concern regarding lowland filling. The committee requests Mayor Gottfried to contact neighboring communities regarding this matter. Building Inspector Lee is requested to communicate with the committee regarding this situation. • Discussion took place again regarding the underground storage of gasoline. The committee will discuss this further at the next meeting Aid. Van Lanen moved to adjourn Seconded by Aid. Salentine Motion carried.
