MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 11, 1979
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pienkos. Also present
were Ald. Tomczyk, Mayor Gottfried and Mr. Michael Weed.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed
on file.
The committee reviewed an ordinance to prohibit the plowing of
snow on streets from driveways. Ald. Tomczyk moved to refer
the matter back to the Public Works Committee for further review.
Seconded by Ald Pienkos. Motion carried.
Ald. Pienkos moved to direct City Attorney Buckley to amend Sec.
13.01(3) of the Municipal Code to provide a fee of $3.50 for
neutered males or spayed females and $5.00 for a male or female
not neutered or spayed and further, to provide that licenses
purchased after July 1st of each year will be one-half price.
Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried.
• The committee reviewed a communication from Building Inspector
Lee's office recommending that Sec 310(6) (Sewer Service Charge
Ordinance) be amended to provide that a sewer service charge be
initimed as soon as the connection is made to the sewer system.
He indicated that it presently now requires occupancy. Ald. Tomczyk
moved to amend Section 310(6) from "whenever a home or building
becomes occupied or given an occupancy permit during the calendar
year......' to "whenever a home is connected to the city sewer
system during the calendar year and is therefore.. ..". Seconded
by Ald. Pienkos. Motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Pienkos. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 9 05 P.M
