• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 29, 1976
The meeting was called to order at 7:17 P.M. by Ald. Constantineau.
Also present were Alderman Wallner and Mayor Gottfried.
The minutes of previous meetings were reviewed and placed on
file.
The committee discussed proposed Ordinance #312 regarding operation
of motor vehicles on Bass Bay. It was noted that the request to
amend the Municipal Code to permit snowmobiling on the ice surface
of Bass Bay came to the city from the Bass Bay Lake Improvement
Association. Considerable discussion took place regarding noise,
cars vs. snowmobiles, etc. Ald. Wallner moved to recommend
Council approval of proposed Ordinance #312. Seconded by Ald.
Constantineau, motion carried.
The committee reviewed correspondence from Police Chief Kraus
concerning a request from the Town of Norway Clerk to have the
City of Muskego adopt an ordinance to coincide with their
ordinance to have SLOW - NO WAKE signs placed in the channel
• between Big Muskego Lake and Wind Lake. Ald. Constantineau
moved to have Mayor Gottfried contact City Attorney Buckley to
have him prepare the necessary amendment to Chapter 20 of the
Municipal Code relating to Public Waters and Beaches. Seconded
by Ald. Wallner, motion carried.
Correspondence was received from Southeastern Wisconsin Regional
Plan Commission concerning the matter of sub -standard lots. Ald.
Wallner moved to defer discussion on this matter until the next
meeting of the committee. Seconded by Ald. Constantineau. Motion
carried.
Ald. Constantineau moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Wallner,
motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:46 P.M.
