COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 27, 1975 -
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Foldy at 7:10 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Colburn and Knudsen, Mayor Gottfried, Zoning
Officer Lee and Mr. Frank DeAngelis.
Mr. Lee appeared at the meeting to advise the Rules, Laws & Ordinance
Committee that the city cannot license plumbers.
The committee discussed its proposed requirement that developers install
curbs and gutters in new subdivisions. The Public Works Committee has
recommended to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee that Section 8.4
of the Land Division Ordinance be amended to read, "The Common Council
shall require rather than "may" require curbs, gutters, etc........
The Rules, Laws & Ordinance committee does not concur with the
recommendation of the Public Works Committee without further study.
The matter was deferred until the next meeting. Mayor Gottfried
to provide each member with a sample ordinance.
