• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 13, 1975

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Foldy at 8:45 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Knudsen, Colburn and Wallner and Mayor Gottfried.
The committee reviewed a letter from Attorney Buckley in which he advised
that certain sections of our Transient Merchant's Ordinance was uncon-
stitutional. The committee directed Mayor Gottfried to have the City
Attorney draft whatever amendments are necessary to make the ordinance
valid. Mr. Buckley will also be asked to advise the city whether or
not a service charge covering incidental expenses would be proper.
Ald. Colburn moved to have Gerald Lee supply sample ordinance to committee
regarding the setting up of licensing board to issue plumbers licenses.
Seconded by Ald. Knudsen, motion carried.
The committee reviewed ordinances from neighboring municipalities regarding
regulations on the keeping of cats. The committee will again discuss this
matter at a future meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
