RLO19740829• RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 29, 1974 The meeting was called to order at 9:10 P.M. Present were Aldermen Colburn and Knudsen, Mayor Gottfried and Gerald Lee Discussion of the proposed Fire Code was deferred until the next meeting. Ald. Knudsen moved to recommend Council approval of a resolution authorizing the placing of "No Wake" buoys in Little Muskego Lake as per the attached sketch. Seconded by Ald. Colburn, motion carried. The committee reviewed the proposed ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance regarding duplexes. The committee directed Mayor Gottfried to contact Attorney Buckley to determine what methods are available to the city for requiring garages on all duplexes and town houses. Boating regulations on Bass Bay were discussed and the matter was • deferred pending investigation of types of systems used by other lakes in the state. • Hunting on Little Muskego Lake was discussed. The committee to recommend to the Police Department the enforcement of DNR regulations, specifically the one pertaining to "no building of blinds in navigable waters". The committee is recommending Council approval of an ordinance requesting that all blinds be registered with the Police Department. Each blind would have a number and name of person respon- sible for the building and removal of blind. Also, all blinds are to be built of wood and covered with natural foliage that is common to the area. Ald. Colburn moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Knudsen, motion carried.
