• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 25, 1974
The meeting was called. to order by Chairman Foldy at 8:35 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Colburn, Knudsen and Dumke, Mayor Gottfried and
Building Inspector Lee.
The minutes of the previous meeting held 7/11/74 were accepted and.
placed on file.
The committee is recommending to Common Council an amendment to
Section 9.01(1)(D)(4) (Firearms Ordinance) after review by City Attorney
Buckley.
The proposed. Fire Code is to be discussed at the next meeting of the
Committee.
An ordinance to amend. Sec. 3.10, Ch. 3 (Re: Sewer Service Charge) by
adding 5G, was discussed. Mayor Gottfried to obtain more information
on the removal of treated sludge. The matter was referred back to
the Sewer Committee for additional discussion with Ruekert & Mielke
on the advisability of a reciprocal agreement.
•Ald. Knudsen moved to recommend to Council the proposed ordinance to
amend Ch. 12.01, Sec. 3 of the Municipal Code by adding (g) which would.
provide for a temporary "B" Operators License. Seconded by Ald. Colburn,
motion carried..
Ald. Knudsen moved to amend the section of the ordinance providing for
Class "B" Operators License to delete the wording related to that of a
medical exam being required. Seconded by Ald. Colburn. Following
discussion on the motion Ald. Knudsen voted "aye" and Aldermen Colburn
and Foldy voted "no". The motion did not carry.
Ald. Knudsen moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Colburn, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
