RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 11, 1974
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Foldy at 9:20 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Colburn and Knudsen, Mayor Gottfried and.Gerald
Lee. •
Ald.. Knudsen resigned. as secretary of the committee and Ald. Colburn
was unanimously elected.
Ald. Colburn moved to recommend to Common Council the approval of an
amendment to Ch. 7 of the Municipal Code (Traffic Code). Seconded
by Ald. Knudsen, motion carried.
Ald. Knudsen moved to recommend. to Common Council the adoption of
amendments to Ch. 30 (Building Code). Seconded by Ald. Colburn,
motion carried.
This committee is recommending to Common Council an amendment to
the Firearms Ordinance deleting Section 9.01(1)(D)(4) after referral
to City Attorney, the question being is Sec. 9.01(2)(A) commercial
use and.9.01(D)(4) private use?
Ald.. Knudsen moved to recommend. to
Sec. 12.01(5)(C) which would remove
Malt Beverage Licenses in the city.

Common Council an amendment to
the quota of 38 Class B Fermented
Seconded by Ald. Colburn. Motion
The committee discussed the Code of Ethics for public officials and,
employees at great length. Ald. Colburn moved to recommend to Common
Council the adoption of the Code of Ethics as presented.. Seconded by
Ald. Foldy, motion carried..
Ald. Knudsen moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald.. Colburn, motion carried,.
The meeting adjourned at 11:00 P.M.
