RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 29, 1973
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Foldy at 8:30 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Knudsen, Czarnecki, Wallner, Mayor Gottfried and
Gerald Lee.
The committee discussed the ordinance pertaining to street openings
and the following recommendations were made:
A. The bond will be changed to $2,000.00 minimum.
B. Minimum deposits of $200.00 of which 75% will be returned
upon completion and 25% will be returned in one year to
cover any subsequent maintenance.
C. Insurance certificate shall be required in the amount of
$100/$300/$50. (Mayor Gottfried to check amounts and
coverage with insurance counselor.)
The above referred to City Attorney Buckley for amendment to Ch.(8)
of the Municipal Code.
The committee will invite Mr. Schwalbach, Mr. Taraska and Mr. Bied-
ryzyski to the next meeting of the committee.
Ald. Knudsen to research new system for dump refuse hauling permits.
The following proposed ordinances are pending in committee:
Boating muffler
Dump Refuse Hauling
Regulation of Animals
Non -returnable bottles
Low Phosphate Detergents
Street Openings
Ald. Foldy moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Knudsen, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 10:45 P.M.
