MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 11,1973.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Foldy at 8:30 P. M. Also present were
Aldermen Ford and Knudsen and Mayor Gottfried.
A discussion was held on Ordinance 9264 (Sewer Service Charges) as it relates to
• non—profit organizations. The committee referred same to Sewer Committee for
clarification.
Mayor Gottfried to correspond with the City of New Berlin and the League of
Municipalities regarding the installation of culverts.
Mayor Gottfried to write to the League of Municipalities on limiting the use of
phosphates.
Mayor Gottfried to write to the League of Municipalities regarding the sale of
beverages in non —returnable bottles.
Communication received and reviewed from Mr. Raymond Schwalbach directed to Mayor
Gottfried regarding the pigeon problem in Bay Lawn Subdivision.
• Aid. Ford moved, as seconded by Aid. Knudsen to refer to City Attorney Buckley to
draft the necessary amendment to Section 9.17 of the Municipal Code (Re: Littering)
as follows: "No person shall, or representative of a business or company allow
his agents to throw or deposit any glass, mud........ etc." Motion carried.

Aid. Ford moved to recommend Council approval of an amendment to Sec. 20.02 of the
Municipal Code by adding (5) Excessive Motor Noise — All motor boats shall have an
adequate muffler system to eliminate excessive noise and shall not_be.continuously
operated without the motor cover firmly secured. Seconded by Aid. Knudsen,
motion carried.
Aid. Ford moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried. The meeting
adjourned at 11:15 P.M.
