• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 16, 1973

The meeting was called to order at 8:51 P.M. by Chairman Foldy. Also
present were Aldermen Knudsen and Wallner and Mayor Gottfried.
The following persons appeared at the meeting to speak in opposition
to the adoption of Ordinance #261, entitled, An Ordinance to Repeal
Sec. 12.01(5)(a) & (b) of the Municipal Code (Re: Class "A" Licenses)

The committee will invite representatives of the Tess Corners and
Muskego Fire Departments to review the proposed Fire Prevention Code
and Burning Ordinance. A representative of the Police Department
will also be invited to that meeting.
The committee will review the Firearms Ordinance at their mext meeting
as per a request from Mrs. Wilson.
A letter was received from Walter Hendrickson regarding the excessive
noise from the operation of the Bennett Trap Shoot on Boxhorn Drive.
The letter included a request for further limitation of the hours of
operation. Mrs. Hendrickson will be advised by the Mayor that it is
the intent of the committee to meet with him personally.
The committee is awaiting comments from the Park and Recreation Board
on the proposed ordinance regarding conduct in public parks.
A discussion was held regarding the need to control the discharge
of clear water from sump pumps, etc. into city -owned ditches or
private property. The matter was deferred until the next meeting.
