THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY CHAIRMAN FORD
AT 9:00 P.H. ALSO PRESENT WERE ALDERMEN FORD AND
• KNUDSEN, AND CZARNECKI AND MAYOR GOTTFRIED.
A COMMUNICATIONS WAS RECEIVED BY THE COMMITTEE:.
FROM THE MUSKEGO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EXPRESSING
WORDS OF CAUTION REGARDING THE PROPOSED SUBDIVSION
CONTROL ORDINANCE.
ALD. RAYMOND WALLNER, HR. FRANK NARLOCK, MR. ALVIN
BASSE, MR. HAROLD DEBACK, I7R. LOUTS LUDWIG AND
APPROXIMATELY 35 OTHER INTERESTED CITIZENS APPEARED
AT THE MEETING TO EXPRESS OPPOSITION TO THE LAND
DEDICATION AND FEE PAYMENT CLAUSE OF THE PROPOSED
SUBDIVISION CONTROL ORDINANCE. AFTER A LENGTHY
DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS FROM VARIOUS PEOPLE
• IT WAS THE COMMITTEE IS DECISION TO CONSIDER TAKING
OUT THE DEDICATION OF LAND AND KEEP THE RESERVATION
OF LAND IN THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE AND TO CHANGE THE
UNDERVELOPED LAND CLAUSE TO FAIR MARKET VALUE. IT
WAS THE COMMITTEE IS DECISION TO FURTHER REVIEW THE
PROPOSED ORDINANCE AT ITS NEXT MEETING WHICH WILL
BE HELD ON JULY 12, 1973. FURTHER ACTION WILL BE
TAKEN AT THAT TIME.

HR. FRANK DEANGELIS APPEARED BEFORE THE COMMITTEE
ON THE RULING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL REGARDING THE
FINANCE COMMITTEE BEING THE ONLY MEMBERS BEING
ALLOWED ON THE NEGOTIATING COMMITTEE. MR. DEANGELIS
EXPRESSED OPPOSITION TO THAT RULING AND IT WAS HIS
HOPE THAT THIS COMMITTEE WOULD MAKE SOME OTHER KIND
OF RECOMMENDATION TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE.
