• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 141 1973
The meeting was called to order at 8:15 P.M. by Chairman Foldy. Also
present were Aldermen Knudsen and Ford, Mayor Gottfried and Ald. Wallner.
The committee is awaiting a reply from Attorney Buckley regarding a
proposed ordinance as it relates to conduct in public parks.
The committee is also awaiting the reactions of the Muskego and Tess
Corners Fire Departments as to the proposed Fire Prevention Code.
A discussion was held regarding the worrying of animals. The committee
will investigate further.
The committee reviewed a list of the requirements for flood insurance from
the DNR. Same placed on file.
Mayor Gottfried to write to other municipalities as to ordinances regarding
the discharge of clear water sumps onto adjoining lands and into city -owned
ditches.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend to the Common Council the adoption of the
proposed ordinance to change the membership of the Plan Commission to
seven members - Mayor, Alderman, Park & Recreation representative and
four citizen members (Ch. 1.05(2). Seconded by Ald. Ford, motion carried.
Ald. Ford moved that the proposed ordinance on conduct towards police
officers be referred back to the Public Safety Committee advising them
of the committee's opposition to said proposal. Seconded by Ald. Knudsen,
motion carried.
Ald. Knudsen moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Ford, motion carried.
