RLO19721130• • • RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 30, 1972 Chairman Foldy called the meeting to order at 8:30 PM. Also present were Mayor Gottfried, Aldermen Dumke, Knudsen & Ford, Police Chief Kraus, ✓; Building Inspector Lee. Mr. Richard Bennett, of the Big Muskego Gun Club, appeared at the meeting to discuss with the committee the several complaints lodged against his facility by some of the property owners adjacent to his property. He assured the committee of his wish to cooperate with his neighbors to solve the several problems they feel he has created. In answer to a question raised regarding additional expansion he advised the committee that he has no plans for expansion. He further advised that the only expansion possible would be the addition of a single trap. His present operation now encompasses 28 in the winter and 44 in the summer (Apr. 1 to Aug. 31). The committee is awaiting legal opinion from City Attorney Buckley regarding trap shooting operations. Ordinance #245 (Amendment to the Traffic Code) was discussed. Alderman Ford moved to recommend to the Common Council the adoption of Ordinance #245. Seconded by Alderman Foldy, motion carried. The committee reviewed the proposed Fire Prevention Code as far as Paragraph 7 on Page 3. The meeting adjourned at 11:30 P.M. Respectfully submitted, Jerome J. Gottfried,Acting Sec'y.
