MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 132 1972
Chairman Foldy called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. Also present
were Mayor Gottfried, Aldermen Knudsen and Ford and Building Inspector
Lee.
. The minutes of the March 30, 1972, meeting were approved and placed on
file.
Ald. Ford was elected Secretary of the committee.
It was agreed that Municipal Justice Witbbrot be invited to the next
meeting to explain his request for a Court Clerk.
Action was deferred on a proposed amendment of the Zoning Ordinance
to allow camping facilities in outdoor recreation areas.
Building Inspector Lee reported that we are still waiting for a report
from Norb Theine of SEWRPC regarding extra -territorial zoning powers.
•Ordinance #216 (Re: Fencing of permanent pools) was deferred until other
sample ordinances can be reviewed.

Ald. Knudsen moved and Ald. Ford seconded, to recommend that the Common
Council adopt Ordinance #223. Motion carried.
Ald. Ford moved and Ald. Knudsen seconded, to recommend that the Common
Council adopt Ordinance #325 (Change in Plan Commission). Motion carried.
Ald. Ford moved and Ald. Foldy seconded, to recommend that Ordinance #217
be amended to read: "Accessory buildings not exceeding 100 square feet
in ground area and not exceeding 7 feet in height, or hap other permitted
structure serving an accessory use, may be permitted in the offset area,
but no closer than three feet to the abutting property line, and only
to the rear of the principal building." Motion carried.
Ald. Ford moved and Ald. Foldy seconded, to recommend that the Common
Council adopt the changes in the building code as proposed by Building
Inspector Lee. Motion carried. (See attached)
Ald. Ford moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Knudsen. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 10:50 P.M.
