• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 16, 1971
Chairman Narlock called the meeting to order at 8:15 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen Foldy,and Dumke, Mayor Gottfried, Zoning Officer Lee and
Ron Ford.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved and placed on file.
18 The committee discussed the Land Division Ordinance. Mayor Gottfried
will direct a'letter to County Agent William Rogan regarding whether
or not a Sedimentation and Erosion Control Ordinance must be adopted
prior to application for aids under Public Law #566.
A report was read from Engineer Barry concerning the Sanitary Landfill
Report forms. Mr. Barry submitted an inspection form for our files.
Proposed amendments to swimming pool regulations will be forwarded to
City Attorney Buckley and the Plan Commission for their concurrence.
A communication from Attorney Buckley regarding the distance between
filling stations, etc. was reviewed. Ald. Foldy moved that the Zoning
• Ordinance be amended as follows:
6.03(1) C. Change to read "In case of requests for conditional
grant for a gasoline service station in B-1 or B-2
or B-3 or B-4 district such grant is subject to the
express condition that no such station shall be located,
built, constructed, maintained or operated, etc."
Change, 8.14 A. 2 b and relist A B C D E under that section.
Change, 8.14 C and include under uses permitted by conditional grant
No. 5 Gasoline Service Stations.
Change 6.03 C 2 Change, 500 feet to 1500 feet.
Motion seconded by Ald. Dumke and carried.
The committee requested Building Inspector Lee to revise Sec.01(4) for
clarification regarding preservation of topography.
Ordinance #211 relating to the establishment and collection of sewerage
service charges was reviewed. This ordinance recommended for Common
• Council approval with the following changes:
Page 3 - Sec. (5)(a) 10th line to read "$6.00 per month"

Page 4 - The word "Unattended" following Telephone Exchange, to
be deleted.
Page 5 - Sec. 5 (d) add the words "used for industrial purposes"
following the word "premises"
Ald. Foldy moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald. Dumke and
carried. The meeting adjourned at 11:40 P.M.
